The Brainwaves Club Philosophy
The Brainwaves Club is based on the philosophy that students with high ability and a passion for learning need opportunities to form rewarding friendships that further foster their interests, social skills and self-esteem with others of similar abilities and interests. G.A.T.E.WAYS aims to facilitate this positive social interaction in a non-threatening club atmosphere.
The Brainwaves Club Program and will not be running Saturday Club meetings in Term 1.
What’s Next? Super Saturdays!
In the future, we plan to reintroduce Saturday workshops with a festival-style approach similar to our Kickstart Festival programs. These new ‘Super Saturday’ programs will not be up and running until at least Term 2. Instead of committing to a term-long club format, you will have the chance to participate in individual workshops as standalone sessions. This approach will provide:
- Greater range of content found in workshops.
- A variety of expert and field-specific presenters.
- Flexibility in choosing which programs and dates to book.
- An increased number of locations where these ‘Super Saturday’ Programs can be run.
G.A.T.E.WAYS will be in touch in the coming weeks when we are ready to share more information about these new ‘Super Saturday’ programs.
